By accessing or using Scholix Research Intelligence ("Scholix", "we", "us", "our") at scholix.app, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
Scholix provides AI-powered academic pre-submission review tools including: peer review simulation, journal matching, acceptance probability scoring, plagiarism detection, AI content detection, research gap analysis, literature review generation, and text humanization (collectively, the "Service").
The Service is intended to assist researchers in preparing manuscripts for submission. It does not guarantee acceptance at any journal. Scholix analysis outputs are advisory in nature and should be used as one input among many in your publication strategy.
You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Accounts may not be shared or transferred.
Free tier: 2 analyses per calendar month. No payment required.
Pro plan (PKR 2,500/month): Unlimited analyses, all features, PDF report downloads. Billed monthly in advance. Renews automatically unless cancelled.
Pay-per-analysis (PKR 800): Single analysis credit. Does not expire.
All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
Pro subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused days. If you cancel within 48 hours of your first Pro subscription charge and have used fewer than 3 analyses, you are eligible for a full refund upon request.
Pay-per-analysis: Non-refundable once an analysis has been run. If a technical error prevented your analysis from completing, contact us for a credit.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Your content: You retain all rights to the papers and content you upload. By submitting content, you grant Scholix a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely for delivering the Service.
Our content: The Scholix platform, brand, software, AI models, scoring algorithms, and all platform-generated outputs (excluding your paper content) are the intellectual property of Scholix Research Intelligence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Analysis outputs: You own the analysis reports generated for your papers. You may use them freely in your publication process.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF RESULTS.
Scholix does not guarantee that: (a) following our recommendations will result in journal acceptance; (b) plagiarism detection results are exhaustive; (c) AI detection scores are conclusive evidence of AI authorship; (d) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCHOLIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or platform notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request a prorated refund for unused prepaid time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws may supplement or supersede these Terms.
